WOOD
Fallen trees from our community are the starting point for most of our one-of-a-kind pieces. With a general idea in mind, we collaborate with the wood to determine what it will become in its second life. Knots, cracks and blemishes are highlighted, rather than removed, in keeping with the principles of wabi-sabi (a Japanese world view centered on finding beauty in the imperfect). Imperfections in wood, and in humans, are part of what make each of us unique.

A portion of every sale will be donated to The Nature Conservancy to support their work in preserving wilderness, wildlife and natural ecosystems.
